Flexibles printer Polyprint has made a substantial investment in a Hudson Sharp bag-making machine as part of a programme to ramp up its food packaging capacity, just weeks after it achieved BRC certification enabling it to print primary food packaging.

Polyprint has signalled its intention to expand into the food packaging sector by achieving British Retail Consortium (BRC) certification (Packaging and packaging materials) – widely held to be the Global standard within the food industry – at the first time of applying.
