About Polyprint
Polyprint Mailing Films is the UK’s leading printer of mailing films and envelopes, as well as packaging for the food industry and other sectors. Based in Rackheath, near Norwich, the company was formed in 1988 and now employs over 55 people, supplying printed film to some of the biggest names in the publishing, mailing, food and other industries.
The company was founded in 1988 by Jonathan Neville and Brian Pitcher, who had extensive experience in the mailing industry, Polyprint still follows its first guiding principles of:
- providing competitive quotations in under three hours wherever possible
- outpacing the competition
- achieving miracle timescales
- providing high quality Flexographic print
- exploring ways of reducing the environmental impact of packaging
Over the years our workforce has increased from three people to over 55 dedicated staff and the factory from one second hand printing machine to brand new state-of-the-art computerised technology. Polyprint has built an enviable reputation for service and speed of performance, with staff, systems and processes combining to enable customers to enjoy the best lead times and lowest possible costs.
We are firmly committed to environmental sustainability (see our Green Statement page for a full run-down on our various initiatives) and have led our industry in enabling the general public to return polythene wrappers and other household polythene for recycling, as a service to the community. Our work has led to support from Friends of the Earth, RSPB and several local councils throughout the UK.
