The Process – what we can achieve

Process Flexography is a process that uses a flexible printing plate, which is mounted on a printing cylinder. It is in essence an updated version of rotary letterpress but can be used for printing on any kind of flexible substrate such as polythene, polypropylene, PET and nylon films, making it ideal for producing high quality printed messages on your mailing products.

Flexography is a direct printing method in that the inked plate applies the image directly to the film.

An inked roller known as the "anilox roller” applies ink to the raised portions of the plate, which is then transferred to the substrate. The anilox roller has microscopic laser etched cells that carry a specific amount of ink to the plate.

The number of cells per linear inch can vary according to the type of print job and the quality required.

This means that we can achieve a high quality print image and text giving you the opportunity to promote your marketing messages achieving maximum visual impact.
